Volunteer’s Application Form
We invite you to apply to volunteer for various HospissLV charity projects.
The biggest of Hospiss LV charity projects is "HOLIDAY TABLE" where volunteers go to hospitals to visit palliative, hospice and oncology care patients to give their time and attention, treat them with some unusual delicacies, organise concerts and in other ways bring a bit of cheerfulness to the hospital walls.
To become a volunteer in hospitals and/or in the patient's home you must first be prepared to receive training in working with hospice care, i.e. seriously ill, dying patients. Also, it should be noted that visits to hospices are organised on weekday afternoons. We will tell you more about the rest after you have completed the questionnaire.
We are also looking forward to welcoming people who can contribute their professional skills to this and other charity projects, such as musicians, photographers, hairdressers, pastry cooks, psychologists, florists, etc.
