Mark 9 and 10 June in your calendar and see you in Cesis!
The goal of our participation is to expand on this uncomfortable topic that directly affects all of us - death and dying. Death is inevitable, it can happen suddenly, it can happen accidentall, from a terminal illness at any age or, quite predictably, from old age.
Is it worth preparing for it, or do we continue folk traditions and think about it only on the occasion of a grave festival?
"The Death Café is an international movement, with more than 14 000 volunteer organisers worldwide. The aim is to create a safe environment where people can freely express their fears, ignorance and pain, and discuss various issues related to death, because we believe that being aware of our mortality gives us an even stronger sense of the gift of life.
