A moment of respite
Idea
The purpose of the Grant Agreement of the Social Entrepreneurship Program is to provide short-term care for oncological, neurological and incurably ill patients (palliative and hospice patients) and to provide their relatives with moments of rest when needed.
Institutional care
24-hour care in specially adapted premises (Monday - Friday)
The service includes:
- nurse monitoring (as needed)
- doctor's consultation (if necessary)
- professional hospice carergiver (24/7)
- functional bed and other technical aids – wheelchair, oxygen concentrator, chair with pot, feeding table (if necessary)
To apply:
A final statement from inpatient treatment is required.
A contract is concluded with the representative of the person to be cared for.
Relatives provide transportation of the patient to/from his place of residence
Mobile team
Patient care at their place of residence. Weekdays 9.00–17.00 (weekdays 9.00-17.00, extendable up to 5 hours)
The service includes:
- care by one or two hospice carergivers
- Possibility to provide technical aids - functional bed, wheelchair, oxygen concentrator, chair with pot, feeding table, etc.
To apply:
A final statement from inpatient treatment is required.
A contract is concluded with the representative of the person to be cared for.

European Social Fund project "Support for Social Entrepreneurship"
Project objective:
Identify and test optimal solutions for the creation and development of social enterprises, including support for labour integration social enterprises, to increase employment opportunities for disadvantaged unemployed, disabled and mentally handicapped people.
The project "A Moment of Respite" is implemented with the support of the financial institution "ALTUM". Project objective is to provide short-term care for oncological, neurological and terminally ill patients (palliative and hospice patients) and to give their families a break when needed.
