40 volunteers will receive certificates for the course, several of whom have already taken the opportunity to join the Hospiss LV charity project "Festive Table", giving their presence and companionship to patients in palliative care wards in hospitals.
The aim of the training programme is to provide volunteers with the necessary theoretical and practical background knowledge, to deepen their understanding of ethical principles, to promote the development of quality and sustainable volunteering as an integral part of palliative care and hospice services.
